One of my favorite sports is hockey, and my favorite team is the Dallas Stars.  Last year was a very up and down season.  New players, new captain...unfortunately it didn't translate into success.  The playoff loss to the Canucks was flat out awful.  Now I have to wait until October again for the Stars to take the ice.  All I can say is if they want me to stay a season ticket holder, I'll need more than 3 home playoff games...hint, hint, hint.

Last game at Reunion (2001):  With about 3 minutes left in the game, I took a quick look around Reunion Arena.  It suddenly sunk in that this would be my last hockey game at the joint.  Sad...but true.  The last Stars game at Reunion...and I was there.  Ah the memories.  But now we move onto the American Airlines Center.  What a place!!!

It's the year I was born...that's all.  I swear.

Stars won in OT, but Super Mario tallied as well.

There is nothing in the world like playoff hockey...nothing!

2007 NHL All Star Game

I was lucky enough to score some tickets to the All Star game here in Dallas.  I got to see something that I have never really seen before in all the hockey games I have been to...
