Just who is T-Willy ?

For years, scholars and scientists alike have been researching the enigma that is "T-Willy", however, with very little success.  T-Willy is a unexplained phenomena, much like a black hole, only not quite as dense.  It has been feared that T-Willy may be beyond our limited comprehension, leaving the philosophers to dangle the unanswerable question from their lips..."Just who is T-Willy?"

Ah yes!  I know what you are thinking.  It is the same thing many who have visited this very place before have pondered.  "I can solve the T-Willy puzzle" you proclaim.  To prevent your feeble shell of an existence from imploding upon itself, I will provide you with what researches have discovered about T-Willy.  Maybe you will be the "enlightened one" who sorts through this maze of information, making sense where none has been found.

However, if you choose to proceed on your quest...be careful.  Many brave souls have been corrupted during their search.  I wish you good fortune.

Below, lies the conundrum that is T-WILLY...

The Basics:

Except for September 11th...there is absolutely nothing funny about that.

You get bonus points if you can tell me where that line comes from.

The Career:  (I work for the evil Oil and Gas industry.  Any negative comments and I'll raise the price of gas another $0.25)

Employer: EnCana Oil and Gas
Occupation: Reservoir Engineer

What I do at EnCana: Being a reservoir engineer basically means I find the most economical and efficient way to produce oil and natural gas from the ground.

Bettina (My Wife):

Well for the longest time I didn't think any woman would ever want to settle down with me.  Boy was I wrong...and I've never been happier.  Bettina and I met back in '99, and after a little bit of a bumpy ride, we got back together in the Fall of 2000 and haven't stopped since.  I proposed on March 11, 2001, underneath the Century Tree.  (Any Aggies out there know exactly where I'm talking about.)  We were married on January 5, 2002 (I put that here so I won't forget our anniversary).  Check out the wedding page for photos of the event.  Here are some photos of us while we were dating.

This photo was taken on March 10, 2002 as the Dallas Stars beat the Colorado Avalanche in OT.  Bettina had a different reason to smile the next day.

Taken at a friend's birthday party Fall 2000.

Taken at P.F. Chang's in Kansas City, MO.  I'm feeling fine...Bettina is feeling much, much better.

On July 15, 2004, my whole life changed again with the arrival of Thomas Allen Williford.  While being a parent isn't easy, and you lose a lot of sleep, patience, and gray hair grows in much faster, I love being a dad.  My favorite time with Allen is in the morning when I pick him up out of his crib, the eyes light up and the smile grows wide.  I've seen a lot of wonderful things in my life, I can't think of any that top the little smiles Allen gives me.

We lived in Houston until the summer of 2006 when I got an opportunity to return to the Metroplex and work for EnCana Oil and Gas.  So we picked up and moved to Frisco, TX (about 30 miles north of Dallas).  If you couldn't tell from the photos above, I have a slight weight problem.  Been a problem my whole life and I finally decided it was time to do something about it.  So in March 2007 I had weight loss surgery.  The timing was right and so far, everything is working as it should.  Plus I'm losing weight!

Hobbies and Activities:

Listen to music (sorry even though I live in TX, not a country music fan) mostly alternative and 80's music, catching live music, reading, watching and playing sports, and most importantly, trying to have fun and making people laugh. I also am a big STAR WARS fan. (Ok, ok...I know I just labeled myself with that one !!!). Check out Lucasfilm's Official STAR WARS website. Plus here is a pretty cool site run by some former Aggies TheForce.Net

As far as sports go, my favorite teams are from where I grew up: Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers, Dallas Stars, and the Dallas Mavericks. I'm a season ticket holder for the Stars.   I was disappointed at the way this last season ended. But come October, we'll start all over again.  Of course I follow all Aggie Sports (WHOOP!!!) I play golf...excuse me. I hit a little white ball and then go chase it for hours upon end, and then proceed to hit it another 100 or more times that day.

Well I am very involved with Texas A&M Former Student activities. Three years ago I was the President of the Houston A&M Club.  The Houston A&M Club is the largest A&M club in the world and is represents over 50,000 Former Students. It was great honor and my officers and I tried  to grow the club and make it stronger.   I used to be the chairman of the Aggie Professional Forum (now called the Howdy Club.)  I'm the first person to ever been president of both organizations.  The Howdy Club provides scholarships to currently enrolled students at Texas A&M. They also put on monthly Hullabaloos (or Social Hour's) to raise money for the scholarships.  The Hullabaloos are a lot of fun and a great way to meet other Aggies.
